MY County Almanac: November 2020
Project-Based Workshop & Micro-Course
Are you tired of every month of 2020 feeling the same?
Do you miss the festivals, celebrations, and events that usually mark the yearly calendar?
Want to tune in to what's happening around you, with America's favorite conservationist as our guide?
In this course, you will read the "November" chapter from the environmental classic, A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold.
Through discussions, nature journaling, and writing prompts, you will create your own "November" chapter to add to your personal almanac and develop a deeper connection to the place you live.
Included in the micro-course is:
1 Live Zoom Workshop (Sunday November 22, 3pm EST)
Additional zoom calls may be scheduled based on participant interest and availability, if the scheduled time does not work for you
Recordings of the Zoom workshops
An online discussion board with questions to answer
Nature Journal prompts
Peer feedback on your Almanac entry
